What Can I Learn From this Place Spreads

I used to do a lot of nature journaling and it was incredibly peaceful to be someplace and do some quick sketches and truly reflect on the meaning of a place.  As life got busier and more insane, I quit spending so much time outside and ended up giving up my nature journaling.

Earlier this year, I found a challenge called 30 x 30 which is all about spending some time outside very day for 30 days.  I started making a conscious effort to spend more time outside at our local forest preserve, walking in whichever town I ended up working in, or around my neighborhood.

I decided that I would combine my love of nature and my love of tarot by spending time in nature and asking what I can learn from a certain place.  I take photos of each place, sometimes I draw what I see, and I pull three cards and ask what I can learn from this place.

Sometimes, as I was sitting in a place meditating, I felt compelled to ask more specific questions so you’ll see those here as well.  Even if I asked a specific question, I tagged it with What Can I Learn From this Place as it falls in that series.

As I’ve visited various places, I’ve learned some interesting things about myself and the world I live in.
